Why did Annette train to teach these classes?

I’ve some clients that no longer have treatments and have MS, Parkinson’s, had a heart attack, recovering from medical illness or issues or spine conditions and hear how much they miss their treatments.

So I trained in teaching exercise classes with them in mind, and because the exercises are at a slower pace, they could be back receiving help through exercises rather than treatments.

Having had pneumonia and sepsis the restrictions from inflammation, aches, pains and deathly fatigue was quite debilitating. So much so, it inspired me to find a way to help myself through movement as I rested so much. I searched to find a course to help others with limited abilities become more able and comfortable.

Professor Sir Muir Grey recognises the benefits to these exercises, as does the NHS

Testimonial

Thoroughly enjoyed the class loved the music, the resistant bands and the pompoms. It's certainly given me the motivation I needed. I even liked the idea of homework.

Looking forward to next week.
