Did you know, a slow and gentle massage can gently guide the soft tissue to relax and re-pair?

This is because a massage that is gentle and slow, can help give signals to the mind and body, to know it's in a calm, safe haven. Going from the stimulated, sympathetic nervous system, to the calming, parasympathetic nervous system, allows you to feel it's okay to relax and repair. 

The massage is purposeful, working more thoroughly on the areas needed to help make changes. Clients often say they can feel the tissue easing and re-pairing again. Also, it’s been proven that regular and gentle massage can help to boost the immune system, as seen on the BBC programme: The Truth About Boosting Your Immune System. 

 

I am certified to give therapeutic treatments, including massage, to those being treated for cancer. The massage is gentle, Slow and light aiming for total relaxation and comfort during such a difficult time.

Face Massage

I offer the following massage sessions

Full body massage

There are ample bolsters and pillows to help you feel as comfortable as possible during your treatment, no matter your shape or size. I use a slow, light, purposeful pressure, aiming to help soothe and melt your muscle fibres into a deeper relaxation.

 

A slower massage tends to offer more of a hypnotic and relaxing feel, so you can totally switch off, freeing your mind and body.

Half body massage

This treatment focuses on one specific area. Quite often I will recommend a half body massage after our consultation once I have identified you needs.

 

It might be your shoulders or legs, but it will be soothing and very healing and tackles specific problems.

Indian head massage

I prefer to opt for the gentler type of massage here, so that it is incredibly relaxing as you lay on the couch.

I use slow, soothing moves to help ease you to a place of calm and serenity, along with a blend of oils selected especially for you.

Abdominal massage

Abdominal Massage relaxes the stomach and many clients report that their stomachs feel flatter and firmer afterwards. By including the ribs and top of chest, abdominal massage is very helpful for asthmatics, people with breathing issues, those recovering from chesty coughs and also for runners.

Face massage

The face massage is popular with both men and women. During each treatment I slowly massage the shoulders, neck, head and face using a bespoke blend of oils to suit your specific needs, most being of great benefit to the skin.

 

Many of my clients comment that they love how their skin both feels and looks after a massage. This is a treatment of pure relaxation, which means you can switch off from the world and drift away.
